If you are travelling to South Tyrol via the Brenner Pass, we would like to inform you about the current status of the Lueg Bridge, which will be rebuilt from January. Many guests have expressed concerns about possible delays, as the bridge will be single-lane.
However, we are pleased to inform you that ASFINAG, together with the state of Tyrol, the local authorities and the emergency services, has drawn up a comprehensive package of measures to ensure that traffic flows as smoothly as possible. Especially on busy days, a temporary dual carriageway will be set up to avoid long waiting times and traffic jams. This will ensure that traffic remains mainly on the motorway and relieve the burden on neighbouring communities.
